Most metal fabrication shops rely on separate machines for cutting, punching and bending, which pushes up equipment costs and slows down overall production efficiency. ALAS Industrial’s heavy-duty press brake attachments solve this common industry pain point by upgrading your existing hydraulic ironworker into a dedicated precision bending unit. Designed for quick bolt-on installation, these bending tool sets eliminate the need for standalone press brakes when processing flat bars and medium-thickness steel plates. With years of specialized manufacturing experience in ironworker auxiliary tooling, we produce durable, dimensionally stable bending attachments compatible with most mainstream global ironworker models. Every tool supports multi-spec bending and custom springback adjustment, delivering consistent, high-precision bending results for daily batch and custom production.
Bolt-on plug-and-play design fits original ironworker punch and shear cavities, enabling fast on-site retrofitting without extra modification

Low-cost generic bending tooling often develops stress cracks at die roots or punch shanks after repeated high-tonnage operation, leading to frequent replacement and production downtime. Our tooling adopts forged AISI 4140 alloy steel with professional quenching and tempering treatment. Only core bending surfaces undergo induction hardening, retaining sufficient toughness and elasticity for the tool body. This optimized structure effectively avoids sudden fracture and fatigue failure, delivering 35% longer service life than ordinary non-hardened carbon steel tooling, greatly reducing daily maintenance costs.
Our integrated bottom die block comes with four commonly used V-opening sizes: 8mm, 16mm, 24mm and 32mm. Operators can switch between thin sheet and thick flat bar bending in seconds simply by rotating the die block, with no need for full tool disassembly or replacement. This flexible design cuts tool inventory investment by nearly 40% and significantly boosts production efficiency for mixed-batch fabrication jobs.
Carbon steel, stainless steel and high-tensile steel plates all produce elastic springback after hydraulic bending, which easily leads to unqualified open-angle workpieces. Our top punches are CNC-machined with optimized 85° and 88° relief angles to offset material springback. This precise over-bending design ensures workpieces form standard 90° corners in a single bending cycle, minimizing rework and material waste while maintaining a strict ±0.5° angular tolerance for mass production consistency.
Rough, unpolished die shoulders generate strong friction during high-pressure bending, leaving permanent scratches and edge cracks on workpiece surfaces. We finely grind and polish all die contact shoulders to a uniform Ra 0.4μm smooth round surface. This eliminates abrasive friction during bending, effectively protecting galvanized sheets, stainless steel panels and architectural decorative plates from surface damage, improving the overall yield of finished products.
We adopt ASTM A322-standard AISI 4140 (42CrMo) chrome-moly alloy steel for all standard bending tooling. This alloy structural steel features outstanding tensile strength, impact toughness and stable hardness under continuous hydraulic pressure, perfectly adapting to long-term daily structural steel bending work. For extreme working conditions with ultra-thick plates and high tonnage, we upgrade to H13 hot-work tool steel, which offers superior resistance to thermal fatigue and high-stress deformation compared with conventional tool steel.
Every bending attachment is manufactured under a standardized, full-process quality control system. We start with spectral testing of raw steel materials to verify composition purity. Integral forging removes internal porosity and enhances structural density. Precise heat treatment balances tool hardness and toughness to prevent brittleness or cracking. Key bending areas are induction hardened for enhanced wear resistance. Finally, full CNC precision grinding and anti-rust surface treatment ensure consistent dimensional accuracy and long-term durability. All production procedures are fully recorded for complete quality traceability.
Ideal for installation on heavy-duty hydraulic ironworkers to bend structural flat bars and small steel plates. Widely used for building frame components and structural steel parts that require high toughness and stable bending accuracy under continuous heavy-load operation.
Perfect for small and medium-sized fabrication shops looking to expand machine functionality without purchasing additional standalone press brakes. Suitable for batch processing of sheet metal and medium-thickness plates, helping factories save equipment investment and workshop space.
Specially applicable for bending galvanized steel, stainless steel decorative panels and custom architectural profiles. The ultra-smooth polished die surface ensures scratch-free forming, meeting the strict surface aesthetic requirements of construction and decoration projects.
The lightweight bolt-on design fits mobile ironworker units, supporting on-site steel bending at construction sites. Contractors can process custom bent parts locally, avoiding the hassle and cost of transporting bulky raw materials back to the factory for secondary processing.
We implement strict full-process quality inspection for all bending tool sets in accordance with ISO 9001 quality management standards, ensuring stable, zero-defect product quality for every order.
Raw Material Inspection: All steel raw materials undergo chemical composition and mechanical property testing to screen out unqualified materials at the source.

With 13 years of focused R&D and production experience in ironworker auxiliary tooling, we deliver cost-effective, high-stability bending solutions for global B2B customers. Learn more about our factory strength.
We adopt the industry-standard complete bending tonnage calculation formula: $$P = \frac{1.42 \times UTS \times L \times T^2}{V}$$. Unified calculation rules to avoid errors: Calculated result P = ton (T), bending length L = meter (m), plate thickness T and V-die opening V = millimeter (mm), UTS stands for material tensile strength (MPa). For reference, a standard 50-ton ironworker can safely bend 200mm-wide, 6mm-thick steel plates with a standard 8×thickness V-die. Bending thick plates with narrow V-dies will sharply increase tonnage load and may damage machine guide rails.
This issue is mainly caused by unpolished, sharp die shoulders. Sharp tool corners produce intense friction during high-pressure bending, scratching and tearing the workpiece surface. Our bending dies adopt Ra 0.4μm high-precision rounded polishing, which eliminates abrasive friction completely, ensuring clean, scratch-free bending results for carbon steel, galvanized steel and stainless steel plates.
Our universal bending attachments fit all mainstream global hydraulic ironworker brands, including Piranha, Sunrise, Geka, Edwards, Scotchman, Kingsland and Megabal. We also provide customized adapter brackets for special and discontinued machine models.
We support 1-piece MOQ for all standard in-stock tooling sets, suitable for equipment replacement, small-batch production and customer trial orders. Bulk orders of 5 sets and above are eligible for discounted wholesale prices for long-term cooperative customers.
All standard in-stock attachments will be delivered within 3 working days after passing pre-shipment precision inspection. Custom-sized, special-angle and non-standard architectural tooling requires 7–10 working days of production cycle, with real-time order progress updates available.
Every tool set undergoes 100% full inspection before shipment. We provide long-term quality after-sales support and free replacement for quality problems caused by manufacturing defects. Normal wear and tear from daily operational use is not covered by the warranty.
