Lasts longer: Cuts better and stays sharp much longer than regular steel, reducing the frequency of blade orders and related shipping costs
Tough enough: Resists breaking even under heavy impact, avoiding urgent reorders that cause delays and extra freight fees
Works for all plastics: Handles hard, soft, and fiber-filled materials, eliminating the need to ship multiple blade types and pay extra customs duties
Cuts cleaner: Reduces machine vibration and saves energy, complementing cost savings from lower international shipping and duty expenses
Carbon: Adds hardness for sharp, long-lasting edges, reducing the need for frequent blade replacements and shipping
Chromium: Makes the blade strong and resistant to wear, cutting down on reorders that incur extra freight and customs costs
Molybdenum: Boosts toughness and heat resistance, avoiding urgent shipments due to blade failure
Vanadium: Refines the steel structure to prevent breaking, reducing the frequency of international orders and associated fees
Silicon & Manganese: Improve strength and stability, ensuring consistent performance that lowers long-term shipping and duty expenses
Handles hard, brittle plastics without chipping or breaking, avoiding urgent reorders that cause delays and extra freight
Maintains sharpness for high-speed cutting, reducing the number of blade shipments and related customs fees
Cuts smoothly without sticking or wrapping around blades, ensuring consistent performance and fewer international orders
Works great for thin films and flexible materials, eliminating the need for multiple blade types and extra shipping costs
Resists wear from glass/carbon fibers, reducing blade replacement frequency and associated international shipping and duties
Withstands heavy impact from thick, mixed materials, avoiding costly delays and urgent freight charges
Fewer blade changes = less downtime, fewer international orders, and lower freight and labor costs
Cleaner cuts = lower energy use for your machine, complementing savings from reduced shipping and duty expenses
Longer equipment life = protects shafts and bearings, avoiding costly machine repairs that may require international parts shipping
For hard plastics, choose SKD-11; for soft plastics, choose 9CrSi; for fiber-reinforced thick materials, choose DC-53.
Entry-level/general-purpose: Choose 9CrSi, which is inexpensive and suitable for most recycled materials without special requirements.
Professional high-efficiency type: Choose SKD-11, which is currently the mainstream configuration for mid-to-high-end shredders and offers the best overall cost-effectiveness.
Wear-resistant type: If the budget is sufficient and you are processing high-fiber materials and thick materials, choose DC-53.
DC53 is a high-performance upgraded version of SKD-11. It features higher toughness and impact resistance, more resistant to chipping and breaking when shredding rigid plastic lumps and thick‑walled pipes, with better stability after heat treatment.
SKD11 offers balanced wear resistance and toughness, performing reliably in general mixed plastic recycling including PET bottles. Vacuum heat‑treated to HRC 58–62, it provides consistent, cost‑effective durability for daily heavy‑duty use.
