Most blade chipping, cracking and quick dulling happens from wrong material selection. Pick the right steel grade according to your cutting material and site conditions.
Ordinary low-hardness round steel / plain rebar: 9CrSi or Cr12MoV, cost-effective for regular cutting work
High-strength ribbed rebar: H13 steel, resists chipping and lasts longer under heavy load
Rusty, sandy and dirty scrap steel: Custom high wear-resistant blades for tough recycling jobs
2. Material & Hardness Advantages

2.1 H13 Steel (Premium Grade)
Hardness: HRC 58-62
Composition: C: 0.32-0.45%, Si: 0.80-1.20%, Mn: 0.20-0.50%, Cr: 4.75-5.50%, Mo: 1.10-1.75%, V: 0.80-1.20%, P≤0.030%, S≤0.030%
Well-balanced hardness and toughness
Great wear resistance and heat resistance
Vacuum heat treated, no crack or deformation during long heavy cutting
Best for: High-strength rebar, continuous high-speed cutting, dirty and scrap steel processing
2.2 Cr12MoV / SKD-11 Steel
Composition: C: 1.45-1.70%, Si: ≤0.40%, Mn: ≤0.40%, Cr: 11.00-12.50%, Mo: 0.40-0.60%, V: 0.15-0.30%, P≤0.030%, S≤0.030%
High hardness and strong wear resistance
Long service life for medium-load cutting
Not tough enough for heavy impact cutting
Best for: Hard round steel, standard rebar, small and medium construction projects
2.3 9CrSi Steel (Economical Grade)
Composition: C: 0.85-0.95%, Si: 1.20-1.60%, Mn: 0.30-0.60%, Cr: 0.90-1.20%, P≤0.030%, S≤0.030%

Best for: Low and medium-strength steel, budget and small-scale projects
