It is very tough and resists heat well. It can handle thousands of cuts without breaking—perfect for making durable scrap metal recycling knives and hydraulic shear replacement parts. Use it for alligator shears of ≥160T. It cuts ultra-thick steel plates (≥30mm), hard round steel, regular alloy steel, thick-walled welded pipes, and other heavy materials.
It is an upgraded version of H13. It keeps H13’s great impact resistance but is tougher, more stable at high temperatures, and resists wear better. It works better than regular H13. It is a top choice for scrap metal recycling knives and hydraulic shear replacement parts. Use it for ultra-large alligator shears of ≥180T. It cuts extra-thick steel plates (≥40mm), heavy alloy steel, thick-walled seamless pipes, large structural steel, and other high-pressure, high-impact materials. It also handles heavy, non-stop cutting in scrap yards.
After heat treatment, it has a hardness of HRC60-64. It resists wear much better than regular tool steel. It is tough and has even hardness. It is great for scrap metal recycling knives and hydraulic shear replacement parts. Use it for medium-to-large alligator shears of 100T-160T. It cuts 10-30mm steel plates, thick rebar, rusty scrap steel, angle steel/channel steel, and other abrasive materials.

We use vacuum heat treatment instead of regular air quenching. This reduces surface damage to blades. It ensures even hardness for all our scrap metal recycling knives and hydraulic shear replacement parts—no matter if they use H13, H13K, or LD.
Right after quenching, we temper blades at 180-220℃. This removes internal stress. It prevents blades from bending or breaking. It also keeps H13, H13K, and LD materials tough and hard—so our alligator shear blades and hydraulic shear replacement parts work well every time.
