Our TMT Bar Cutting Blades are engineered specifically for the Indian construction and steel fabrication sectors. TMT bars, especially Grade 500D and 550D, feature a hard outer martensitic rim that requires exceptionally tough and wear-resistant cutting tools.
Crafted from premium Cr12MoV or H13 tool steel, our blades undergo a specialized vacuum heat treatment to achieve a hardness of 50-62 HRC. This ensures they can withstand the repetitive high-impact force of shearing multiple TMT rods simultaneously without chipping or premature dulling.

H13 Hot Work Steel

    • Carbon: 0.32–0.45%

    • Chromium: 4.75–5.50%

    • Molybdenum: 1.10–1.75%

    • Silicon, Manganese, Vanadium: Balanced trace levels

    • Low sulfur & phosphorus, iron as base metal

  • Core benefits:
    • Balanced strength and toughness to stop edge chipping

    • Strong heat resistance and anti-crack performance

    • Hardness: HRC 50–55

  • Best for:
    • High-impact continuous cutting

    • Thick rebar, high-strength ribbed rebar

    • Hot rolled rebar and high-speed production lines

    • Indian Fe 500 / Fe 550 TMT bars

Cr12MoV Cold Work Steel

  • Chemical makeup: High carbon + high chromium, plus molybdenum and vanadium

  • Core benefits:
    • Hardness: HRC 61–64

    • Extreme wear resistance and long edge life

    • Strong compression and bending strength

  • Best for:
    • Hard cold-rolled rebar cutting

    • Continuous low-impact cutting tasks

  • Note: Lower toughness; avoid large gaps and heavy impact work

9CrSi Alloy Steel

  • Core benefits: Low cost, easy processing and stable basic performance

  • Best for: Ordinary low–medium strength round steel and light rebar cutting

  • Ideal for: Small projects with tight budget limits
