To handle such extreme lengths, we utilize high-precision grinding machines that ensure a straightness tolerance of ±0.02mm over the entire blade. Every blade is crafted from premium tool steel (such as 9CrSi, 6CrW2Si, D2,H13 or Cr12MoV) and undergoes rigorous cooling during grinding to prevent thermal stress. The result is a razor-sharp, durable edge that guarantees clean, burr-free cuts for high-tonnage shearing operations.

Material Selection Guide

  • Ordinary carbon steel (Q195, Q235): Choose 9CrSi or Cr12MoV (good value, all lengths available)

  • Medium/low-hardness steel, aluminum, copper: Choose SKD11 or D2 (wear-resistant, long service life)

  • Light stainless steel, medium-strength steel: Choose SKD11 or D2 (stable cutting performance)

  • Thick stainless steel, high-strength steel: Choose H13 or LD (tough, not easy to chip)

  • Hot shearing, high-temperature work: Choose H13 or H13K (resists high temperatures)

Important Notes

  • Balance hardness and toughness: Too hard = easy to chip; too soft = easy to dull. Choose based on your cutting material and load.

  • Heat treatment matters: Good materials need professional heat treatment to work well, especially for long blades.

  • Sticky materials (stainless steel, aluminum, copper): Choose Cr12MoV or SKD11 to prevent sticking and chipping.
