HSS M2 is alloyed with tungsten and vanadium, so it holds up extremely well against heat and wear. Blades get very hot during high-speed automatic deburring work. This steel stays sharp far longer — three to five times longer than standard carbon steel. It won’t bend or warp at the cutting edge, and you’ll need to replace blades much less often.
