To maximize the performance and operational lifespan of your rebar cutting blade, please follow these standard procedures:
Clean the Seat: Thoroughly clear out all metal fines, rust, and scale from the blade holder before positioning the new knife.
Set the Clearance: Maintain a blade-to-blade clearance within 0.2 mm to ensure clean shears and prevent structural stress on the edges.
Torque Evenly: Tighten all mounting bolts to 40–50 N·m using a torque wrench to prevent any tilting or misalignment.
The Break-In Phase: Run the first 10 to 20 cycles at a lower speed or on softer material. This seats the tool perfectly and significantly reduces the risk of early micro-cracking.
