When calculating your production budget, analyzing the initial shearing machine blade price is only half the equation. True cost-effectiveness is measured by the cost-per-cut. Cheap, uncertified metal shear blades dull quickly and chip under high-load impacts, leading to frequent machine alignment downtime, wasted sheet metal, and repetitive sharpening expenses.
At ALAS, we combine advanced tool steel metallurgy with highly automated CNC mass production to deliver the most competitive, factory-direct guillotine shear knife price while maintaining unmatched cutting longevity.
No hidden minimum order quantity: We produce strictly according to your drawings, whether you order 1 piece or 100 pieces.
Quotation based on your actual needs: We only quote for materials and processes you require, and will not push generic blades unnecessarily.
Free material selection consultation: Simply inform us of your plate type, plate thickness and shear model, and we will recommend the optimal steel grade, including 9CrSi, Cr12MoV, SKD11, D2, H13 and LD.
We believe in open and transparent commercial partnerships. The quotation of an industrial metal cutting blade depends mainly on four critical manufacturing variables:
Material Chemistry: Standard alloys (like 9CrSi) offer the lowest upfront shear blade price for thin mild steel. Premium grades (such as D2/SKD11 or heavy-duty H13) require a higher initial investment but deliver a 4x longer operational life when cutting stainless steel plates.
Dimensional Volume (L × W × T): Total material weight determines the baseline steel cost. We specialize in single-piece extra-long blades up to 4 or 6 meters, significantly reducing costs compared to multi-segment alternatives.
Machining Tolerances: Achieving extra precision ground specifications (≤ 0.02mm parallelism) requires advanced long-bed surface grinders, ensuring zero-burr cuts and slower tool wear.
Order Volume Discounts: Thanks to our large-scale mass manufacturing capacity, we provide substantial tier-based wholesale discounts for batch orders and industrial parts distributors.
The final price of shear blades is subject to the following factors:
Material: High-performance steels such as D2, H13 and LD feature higher costs for raw materials and heat treatment, so they are priced much higher than basic grades like 9CrSi.
Dimensions: Larger blade sizes, especially length over 3 meters and increased thickness, raise material consumption and processing difficulty, which drives up the price.
Heat Treatment & Machining: Standard vacuum heat treatment and precision grinding guarantee reliable hardness and tolerance, yet come with higher costs. Special surface treatments such as TiN coating will also add extra charges.
Order Quantity: Bulk orders enjoy unit price discounts. Even with our 1-piece MOQ policy, better unit prices are available for orders of 10 pieces, 50 pieces or more.
Supplier & Customization: Brand reputation, technical capability, non-standard customization and OEM services all affect quotations. ALAS focuses on drawing-based customization with zero hidden fees.

All above ALAS prices are for finished blades. Each blade is processed with vacuum heat treatment and precision grinding to achieve micron-level flatness. Ready for direct installation upon arrival.
Zero Middlemen Margin: You are dealing directly with our production facility in China. There are no export trading companies or domestic wholesalers diluting your profits.
Integrated CNC Production: Our workshop utilizes synchronized high-capacity precision CNC milling, vacuum hardening furnaces, and surface grinding lines. This automation reduces human labor costs and guarantees 100% uniform dimensional stability.
Symmetrical 4-Edge Engineering: All rectangular blades feature four precision-ground cutting edges. When one edge dulls, simply rotate the blade 90 degrees. This design effectively cuts your tool acquisition cost into a quarter by postponing regrinding needs.

The more detailed your specifications (material, exact dimensions, quantity), the more accurate the quotation.
Some suppliers charge by weight. We can provide theoretical weight for your freight calculation.
Calculate total cost of ownership: Compare initial purchase cost and service life between regrinds to figure out long-term cost per cut.
Watch out for hidden charges: Confirm tooling cost, freight, tax and other extra fees upfront. ALAS provides clear quotations with no extra charges.

Q1: How can I request an accurate price quote for a custom shearing blade?
A: Simply click "Inquiry Now" and provide your machine brand (such as Amada, LVD, Accurpress), model, or simply the blade dimensions (Length × Width × Thickness) along with the bolt hole pitches. Our team will send a formal quote within 12 hours.
Q2: Do your prices include export-grade maritime packaging?
A: Yes. Our quoted shearing machine blade price always includes full anti-rust oil coatings, multi-layer moisture-proof film wrapping, and heavy-duty, solid wooden crate packaging to ensure zero corrosion or damage during long sea transits.
Q3: Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ) to get the wholesale factory price?
A: Our MOQ for standard sizes is just 1 piece. However, for custom non-standard blades, purchasing in matching sets (upper and lower blades together) or batches allows us to optimize machine setup times, passing additional manufacturing savings down to your final price.
All quoted prices are for blades only. Please do not confuse them with the price of complete shearing machines.
For bulk orders, request material certificates, heat treatment reports and dimension tolerance drawings from suppliers. ALAS provides complete quality documents with shipments.
Stay alert to abnormally low prices. Blades far below market price may use inferior materials, recycled steel or skip standard heat treatment, leading to short service life, rough cutting burrs and even equipment damage.
Ultra-low-cost standard blades usually skip professional vacuum heat treatment or adopt recycled steel. They tend to chip easily, produce burrs quickly and may damage your shearing equipment.
Although ALAS blades have a slightly higher upfront cost, their service life between regrinds is 3 to 5 times longer than ordinary blades. They also effectively protect your machines and deliver lower overall operating costs.
Feel free to send us your drawings or technical parameters for quotation. 1 piece is acceptable. Inquiry is free and non-binding.
