Clamping: Fix the steel bar firmly, without axial movement under high upsetting pressure (50~200kN). Avoid insufficient heading length and incomplete forming. Ensure the heading diameter meets design requirements (usually 1.5~2 times the steel bar diameter).
Protection: The clamping surface fits closely with the steel bar surface. Avoid surface damage and work hardening caused by high-pressure clamping, and ensure the steel bar’s mechanical properties are not affected.
