A1: We use three common steel grades. 9CrSi is economical and sturdy, fits regular daily cutting work. Cr12MoV wears much slower, its service life is two to three times longer, great for high strength rebar. H13 steel holds up well against impact and high heat, suitable for large rebar and scrap steel cutting jobs.
A2: There is no need to switch blades if you stay within the machine’s rated cutting range. Once the rebar goes beyond the maximum size limit, you need to replace the blade right away. Cutting oversized material will easily crack or bend the blade. Always use blades that match your cutter capacity.
A3: Using unsuitable steel material cannot withstand strong cutting impact. Improper assembly gap will create uneven force on blade surface. Running the machine over load also causes damage. Poor heat treatment will make blade hardness unstable and shorten usage time.
A4: 9CrSi blade can finish 500 to 1000 cuts on rebar under 20mm. Cr12MoV works 1500 to 3000 times for high strength steel. H13 blade supports 2000 to 4000 cuts under heavy working conditions. Actual service life also depends on steel quality and daily care.
A5: First check your cutter model and measure blade thickness, length and hole position. Choose steel material based on daily cutting volume and rebar thickness. Make sure the blade size fits the installation position perfectly before installation.
A6: Blades with minor wear can be sharpened at 30 to 45 degree angle, then adjust assembly gap again. Any blade with cracks, broken edges or shape distortion should be replaced immediately. Repeated sharpening will gradually reduce total service life.
A7: Our cutter blocks are designed with four usable cutting edges. When one edge becomes blunt, loosen the fixing bolts, rotate the block and use a fresh cutting side. This practical design doubles the service life and helps cut down spare part expenses.
A8: Clean up metal scraps and dirt completely after each use. Coat anti-rust oil to prevent rust and corrosion. Store blades in dry area and avoid dropping or heavy collision. Check blade condition regularly and replace damaged parts timely.
A9: Hydraulic blades are thick and durable, designed for 20mm to 32mm rebar cutting. Electric blades are thin and light, ideal for fast cutting of 6mm to 20mm rebar. Manual blades come in compact size, perfect for portable outdoor work on rebar below 16mm.
A10: Yes. All products are manufactured according to original standard size and strict tolerance. They fit RC-16, RC-20, RC-22, RC-25 handheld electric cutters, and also match most common hydraulic shear tools on market.
