Suitable for: Medium-large shears 100T-160T; cutting 10-30mm steel plates, thick rebar, rusty scrap steel, angle steel/channel steel
Advantages: Most wear-resistant; reduces blade replacement; improves work efficiency
3. Strengthening Process
Good performance depends on proper heat treatment and surface strengthening. Poor processing can cut blade life by half or more.
3.1 Basic Heat Treatment Steps
Use vacuum heat treatment (instead of ordinary air quenching) to avoid surface oxidation and ensure uniform hardness.
Temper at 180-220℃ after quenching to reduce internal stress, prevent deformation/cracking, and stabilize hardness and toughness.
